Rayon is the fabric that moves. Silky against the skin, fluid in motion, and luminous in the way it carries colour. It is ultra-soft, finely woven, breathable, and lightweight. Rayon absorbs hand-dye differently from cotton, giving each piece depth and a painterly quality that photographs beautifully and feels even better in person.
Reach for rayon when the occasion calls for something elevated. It drapes, it catches light, and it makes a simple silhouette feel like a considered one. Perfect for elegant gowns, maxi dresses, palazzo trousers, and co-ord sets where movement is part of the look.

Tampoori is based in Accra, Ghana. At checkout your card will be charged in GHS at the current exchange rate.
International customers: Pay via International Card at checkout. Your bank applies the exchange rate.
Ghana customers: Pay in GHS via Direct Momo Payment or Ghana Bank Transfer at checkout.
Nigeria customers: Pay in NGN via Nigeria Bank Transfer at checkout.
If Mobile Money or bank transfer options are unavailable, GH and NG customers can pay via Paystack using Visa or Mastercard.
Hand-dyed in small batches in Accra by our team of six local women artisans. We work primarily on natural fibers, reclaiming and reusing wax and dye baths where we can. Textile mill offcuts and obroni wawu, secondhand imported fabric, are given a second life with Tampoori color. We're not perfect. But we're honest, and we're trying.

Processing: Orders processed Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm GMT.
Pickup: Collect from our Spintex or Labone studios at no extra cost.
Ghana: Delivered via courier within 2 to 3 business days.
Nigeria and West Africa: We deliver via interstate bus, you collect from the bus station in your city. We will send you the bus details and waybill number once your order is on its way.
International: Shipped via DHL Express, Tridol Express or Aramex depending on your destination.

We want you to love your fabric. Here is everything you need to know before you buy.
All sales are final on cut fabric. Because each piece is hand-dyed in small batches, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on fabric that has been cut, washed, or used.
Uncut fabric. We have a 10-day return policy from date of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original condition with proof of purchase. EU customers have 14 days under the EU cooling off period. If approved, you can choose a refund to your original payment method or store credit. Shipping costs and import duties are non-refundable. Sale items and gift cards cannot be returned.
Colour variation. Our fabrics are hand-dyed by artisans. Natural variation in colour, tone, and texture is part of the process; no two pieces leave the studio looking exactly the same. This is not a defect, it is the nature of the craft. Colour may also appear slightly different on screen depending on your device settings.
Damaged or incorrect orders. Please inspect your order on receipt and contact us immediately if something is wrong so we can make it right.

Cold wash; expect minimal dye bleed in first wash.
Wash alone for the first two washes.
Hand washing is always safest.
No bleach, no biological detergent.
Dry in the shade, never in direct sunlight.
Iron on the reverse side at medium heat.

Tampoori works directly with fashion designers, seamstresses, tailors, costume designers, interior stylists, and creative studios who need fabric in volume or bespoke colourways.
What we offer:
Bulk yardage: Minimum 30 yards per colourway. Ideal for production runs, collections, or stocking your studio. Pricing is per yard and scales with volume.
Custom colourways: You bring the inspiration, we bring it to life. Share a colour reference, mood board, or fabric swatch and we will develop a colourway exclusively for your project. Custom orders take 2 to 4 weeks depending on complexity and dye schedule.
Corporate and gifting orders: Bespoke fabric, gift sets, and branded textile packages for events, hotels, airlines, and organisations. Minimum quantities apply.
Atelier collaborations: We work with designers for capsule collections and limited edition runs under joint or Tampoori branding. If you have a concept, let's talk.
